Believers Medical Journal (BeMJ) is committed to maintaining editorial independence, scientific objectivity, and ethical integrity in all aspects of its publishing activities. Any advertising, commercial activity, or institutional sponsorship associated with the journal is kept separate from the editorial decision-making process.
Manuscripts submitted to BeMJ are evaluated on the basis of their scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to medical and healthcare scholarship. Advertisers, sponsors, commercial organizations, or other financial interests do not determine peer-review outcomes, editorial decisions, publication schedules, or editorial policies.
The journal's approach to advertising and commercial activity is informed by relevant principles of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Where advertising is accepted, BeMJ considers material that is relevant to the academic, medical, scientific, and healthcare community, including:
Advertising will not be accepted, or may be removed, when it:
Commercial material must be clearly identified as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored Content” so that readers can readily distinguish it from peer-reviewed scholarly content.
Advertising associated with a specific product or service should not be positioned in a manner that could reasonably create the impression that the journal endorses the product, service, or claims discussed in a related scholarly article.
The Editor-in-Chief retains the authority to decline, restrict, modify, or remove commercial material that does not meet the journal's scientific, ethical, or editorial standards.
Acceptance or display of an advertisement does not determine whether related manuscripts are accepted, rejected, revised, or published.
BeMJ maintains its commercial and advertising practices in accordance with applicable publication-ethics principles, including relevant COPE Core Practices, DOAJ transparency principles, and editorial-independence guidance.
This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated when necessary to maintain appropriate separation between commercial activities and scholarly publishing.
Publication of an advertisement or sponsored link by Believers Medical Journal (BeMJ) does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, certification, or recommendation of the advertised product, service, organization, or claim by the Journal, its Editors, Editorial Board, Publisher, or affiliated institutions.
